yea...I had the same thing pretty much with my DIY exhaust...I had a 45 degree bend to a tip that was clamped on....in person it really sounds like a freakin Jaloppy.....by that I mean something that sounds like it has had holes drilled in the muffler lol. Sounds very bad at idle...sounds badass revving and is definetly loud as **** at all rev levels

on the verge of sounding completely dumb i would just lik to say you can get the same if not better sound from no muffler. I did it with a few kids at my class and all of our cars did sound slightly "meaner" I've been no exhaust for 2 weeks now and no vehicle problems. I have noticed that it's a bit more aggresive at all rpm's and that my gas mileage isgoing down ever so vast. But if i wanted a gas mileage car i would own a toyota. Just try it out i mean if you're doing an exhaust change anyway let me know what you think of it.

your gas mileage will go UP if you remove your muffler...if you can keep your foot out of it....
it will be more powerful in the high rpms but less in the lower
Be careful driving with no muffler, therre is nothing securing the midpipe and it shakes like CRAZY over bumps, and will shake loose and come off...YES it has happened to me....it could also tear up the flanges to the exhaust manifold if it moves too much........i would not reccommend going no muffler, if youjn like the sound get a turndown and make a mount to secure it, or have a shop fab you up something
