Default Scared straight

I was coming home from work on a very deserted stretch of road when I decided to kick into it. It's fun asanything with a Procharger. Anyway, I started to shift into second when my tach redlined and started bouncing like Pamela Anderson braless. I had completely let off the gas but the engine was still redlining. I put in the clutch, still redlining... I shut off the engine and pulled over just to find out that my winter mats had wedged the gas pedal to the floor. Scared the bejesus out of me. Luckily no one was on the road. Just a bit of caution when using the heavy winter Ford Mustang mats. Hopefully I didn't bend any rods.

I'm glad you posted this. I'm glad you're alive.

These mats... are they the ones with the "Pony" emblem in the center? If so, I'd thought about buying those, maybe I won't now.
