I have dash rattles, what can they do to fix that? is it really just exhaust and the shaker that will help (hide) that problem. Its really annoying, it appears in a different place, sometimes its the shift boot other times its the a pillar and sometimes its just the dash
my cars going to the dealer tomorrow because it has a clanking underneath it.
Any input on either of these problems will be helpful

I've heard of a few people fixing rattles by pushing on the panels or whatever that are making noise (basically just shifting the panels slightly so things aren't touching and causing the rattles) or more appropriately taking the rattling pieces off and putting foam or tape or padding or whatever in there to eliminate the contact points (this way would likely do a better job and would last longer than just shifting things around by pushing on them, but the downside if you have to start taking stuff apart.)
You could always ask your dealer about them, but I'm not sure if that kind of stuff will be covered by warrenty or if you'll have to fork over labor costs to fix rattles. (And personally, the less time my Mustang spends at the dealer the better.)

...I got my car new in april 06 (an 05 from august figure that!) So I got a nice 6500 off the sticker price. Thats the only reason I have a car before I have my license... to good a deal to pass up. So it pretty much sat in the garage except for weekends and such, but know Im driving it so its all good.
