so i had the car for 4 months now and i was driving on the 215 (for you vegas people) and out of nowhere a rock smacks the windshield and takes a chip out of her.....isurance says i have a 500 deductible so know i have to find a place to repair or replace.

 

Is it just a bullseye? or did it actually make a large crack. If its a bullseye, you can coat the damaged area with clear nail polish and itll keep it from spreading.

O, then youll definitly need to get it replaced. Call around to your local glass shops, it might be cheaper to pay out of pocket rather than paying your deductible. I just had a windsheild replaced on my DD (94probe), it cost me $227 installed with the glass.
