i havent tried any of this on the stang, but i had a tornado on my integra, (same idea as the turbonader) it didnt do anything for hp but i gained like 2 mpg. it works like a throtle body spacer, and ive read that spacers dont work on the 4.0 anyway, so i dont think this would work eather, as for the electricsupercharger, i have one on my integra still, its an e-ram, it clames to give like 15% increase in hp at wot. i havent been able to dyno it and i never drove it at wot to really ever enjoy it. i was thinking about trying it on the stang, but like i said i dont drive at wot, so its still a maybe. if the chart in this months Modified Mustangs is correct, 1 psi of boost = a 7% increase = 21 hp based on a 300hp car, then a e-ram that produces 1psi of boost should give the 4.0 like 14.7hp (7% of 210hp)if this were a perfect world and we all drove at wot that is. just my 2cents

your kidding right.

the natural air demands of the engine will suck more air than what those things can push.

they do work on small engines though up to about 1000 CC. i didn't believe it myself but a friend made his own on his Buell it did build 3 psi but the damn thing blew apart and he ruined his valves. haha.

in essence they are a huge waste of money.

oh throttle body spacers are usless also

Ok, I have seen the ads in car and driver and all the car magazines about the 35 hp you can gain w/ this thing and I have read how it works but is this thing legitimate? Does anyone on here have one installed?
You fail.

kidding about what?

i have no claims of hp or times, i stated that ive used both products on another car, the turbonator works like a spacer so it wouldnt work on our cars. e-rams website claim a 1psi of boost over the air that the car already takes in at WOT. i then said if it were a perfect world that would be great. the chart was just taken out of a mag. so i would exspect those numbers to be close and i guessed on the 4.0 using the same 7%. now if i were to say that i use both on my mustang and i pull 10s all day long then i would be kidding.

That Thomas Knight guy has the best electric supercharger idea I've seen so far.
