Has anyone done the upgrade? How hard is it to do? Worth spending $800ish?

Thinking of this being my first mod to my Pony.

I really don't think its worth the 800 bux....With that cash you can get a cold air intake or a nice exhaust and some other cosmetic upgrades. Just get some nice silverstars for now IMO. A friend of mine found some bulbs that really do look blue and give a nice look to his car, Ill have to find out which ones they are and give them a try.

Sure, get silverstars if all you want is a bright white. If you've ever driven a car with HID's you won't want to go back. I'd love to get HID's for the mustang but all I see are the ones with 2 projectors mounted vertically, and I don't think it flows with the rest of the car.

If anyone has done the saleen swap, please share!

Just yesterday I had the Saleen HID's installed...................besides giving it a more aggressive look!!!The lights work really nice, the operation for motorized reflectors is really smooth, beside giving some really excellent lighting, they were worth it...........IMO!
Anything Saleen will have a nice price to it, but you get what you pay for.....................just like anything else, I recommend the Saleen HID's................but, would not be my first MOD......
