Default Gear question

Will 7.5(3.73) rear end gears out of rangers and older mustangs work in our 4.0's?

mustangman did you get your gears used? Is it really worth it to save $100? The install is the expensive part of the whole process and if you need to go back in because the used gears have problems, then you have two installfees $$$$.

MPS does not have any 3:73 gears right now. All he had was 1 set of 3:31. Used gears are fine as long as they are not worn out.
