A Little Bit of Fun on the Highway
Alright. story time:
Today I had to go to the mall to pick up my check at my second job, get it cashed, and hopefully get an oil change done before going in to my main job. I took the freeway that cuts through town (Hwy 101 N.) to get there.
When I get off the ramp onto the highway, I'm about to go to the far left lane, when I see coming up beside me a Torch Red V6 drop-top. I get in the lane behind him, and I've got to say, this guy was really jamming! I stayed a few car lengths behind him, for safety (Hwy 101 in Salinas can be sketchy). I was doing 80-90, he was doing a lot more than that.
Anyway, traffic got thick, and we slowed down. He got in the right lane, and I was able to pass the car. As I go by, we looked at each other and I gave him one of these [sm=icon_rock.gif]its what I use for a thumbs up. I get quite a bit ahead, go into the right lane so I can get on the off-ramp, and the drop-top comes by and the guy driving gives me a thumbs up as he passes me.

I'm usually in SF, up near Sac now though. Maybe I'll see you one day

I know that felling... a great feeling! I drive a Wrangler and I get this so called "Jeep Wave" from fellow Jeepers all the time. Mustangs, Jeeps, and Harleys have this sub culture that goes along with it.
