exhaust time!
so ive done a TON of research on which dual exhaust to go with..and after listening to several sound clips ive narrowed it down I think and wanted to get an opinion from people who are NOT the ones who own the system who have an opinion about the sound of both they pypes true dual x pipe system with street pro mufflers and the dual flowmaster American Thunder and/or 40's w/ H pipe. I have not heard either in person which is unfortunate, but I need the opinions of some people who have. If you own one of these and love it chime in and give me the positives and negatives about each but i realize if you own it, you're also probably biased, so id like to get an opinion of someone who's just heard them and doesnt own them you know???? shoot away everyone...im kinda torn since i cant hear in person myself...

I was in the exact same dilemma, but I opted with the pypes x with street pros.. but honestly, the sound of the H and flows ATs sound amazing, and wasn't that impressed with the sound of the pypes on video, but I guess I'll see when it goes on. The only thing that made me stray away from the flows was the mufflers weren't stainless, and worry about rusting. But maybe in the future I'll switch em to the flows.
I have heard them both when i last went to the race track for a Mustang meeting around here and i think they both sound great. I am too going back and forth between these 2 systems plus Magnaflow and JBA (which both also sound awesome) i would say its just your personal preference and budget. They both have a deep throaty sound which everyone likes to have from their exhaust. Myself, im right leaning towards the Magnaflows or JBA because i thought they had just a tad bit better sound. Either one you choose i think you will be just as happy with.
I have the pypes...I love the way the flows sound, and mine as well. Mine are decently loud as of now.. and are getting quieter every mile (Break in).
Well the reason I picked the pypes was because they are all stainless and they are 430 for the entire thing....If you get flowmasters they are aluminized and will rust, they are 270+hangers (80) +clamps/hardware(50) + midpipes(100) +install/labor basically it adds up to be alot and it will be a custom, non engineered kit that may rattle. I have no rattles.
This is my biased opinion but this is what based my decision on the pypes. They sound really aggresive and I love the sound/feeling of revving the engine through town. It gets to be fun.
