Ya, I was thinking about that too.
Since its Ford, I wonder if they use the same remote or if you need ANOTHER remote? Got too many remotes as it is!
BTW: mdlesk, did you get your pony fixed? Light pole if I remember correctly? I cringed when I read that, slow speed accidents FEEL worse 'cuz you see it coming!

You could also get the OEM Ford Remote Starter. I was checking into it for myself.

RE: Remote Start
Here let me clean this up im certified to to do remote starts, u can do in a manuel but the problem is if u forget it in gear ur car will jump about 2-3 feet, it is illegel for a shop to do it but there are installers that do it, just dont go back to them if u do remote start in gear, its also possibile to have 1 remote tha not oem, DEI makes it, it very simple (well for me it is), not gonna get into the whole wireing cuz i'll be here all day and im at work so i dont feel like doing that lol, if i do it in a manuel i charge more but i make it so if the car is in gear it wont start, most installers this day dont bother with it, also u dont have to give up a key u better of paying for the 1000f which requiers only programing, ok there my 2 cents any question anything audio alarms reley really anything mobile electronics ill gladly help u answer.
