i don't see it really being worth it....if you are gonna swap, go all out and get something rediculous! you could go stroker on the 4.0 and have one insane engine too. If morana ever comes out with that 4.5 stroker....woooooweee!

THE HELL WITH IT!!!! i'm gonna make my own Stroker KIT DAMMIT!!!! granted it's going to be a damn Frankinstine but whatever works right

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're suggesting taking a pushrod 4.2, putting it in your mustang, and slapping on your 4.0 heads?
I dont see how this would work, as the 4.0 is an overhead cam motor, and the 4.2 is a pushrod motor, meaning the cam is in the block...
Did I misread this?

If you're going to go through all of the trouble to swap in a motor, why dont you swap in a V8? Find a wrecked Terminator or Mach1..
