Default Which dual for me?

Right now I am stock. I will probaly get SC, Turbo or Xthis summer or next, but now I need a new exhaust.

I have a coworker that will give me his GT takeoffs (mannual trans), but I would be willing to buy new aftermarkets. I alsohave a $50 dollar meineke Gift card to use by the 30th so I suppose I will have them do the work for me. I live in a state that does not check emmisions so what do do you reccomend?

I am looking for deep growl, not to loud, no drone and something that will allow the futrue SC/TC to breath. I think I can acomplish all of this with the GT takeoffs, Hpipe and no cats but we will see everyone else thinks.

Thanks everyone.

I think that you're on the right track. If you read a lot of these posts, you will hear a lot of guys that go out and spend hundreds onoverpriced mufflers, then write how unhappy they are, because they are too noisy, drone and whatever. You know, a muffler is just a muffler. It doesn't matter how it's painted, or whether or not it has gigantic tips stickin' out of it.Some have less flow restriction, but they are noisy! The GT does a good job. When used on our V6's with a dual setup, the constriction is almost non existent. And they sound GOOD, not just loud. Only my opinion.

Also you could get high flow cats...I know you said that emissions aren't checked in your state but with cats we can all breath a little better.

Thanks for all those who voted and gave input. I am going to go with the dual GTs.

My coworker also took off his H pipe and replaceditwith a catless Hpipe. Can I use his H pipe or should I just have the Y cut off and an H fabed in its place?

I have GT takeoffs on mine and I love the sound. They have a nice growl and they do not have the annoying drone or vibration.
