it says no tune is required... i know some say that but it makes your engine run lean and hurts your engine and performance. Is this true of this intake? Is this a decent intake for the money? Thanks

wow that is cheap, but it looks like too big of an intake to not require a tune...no intake runs great on our cars w/o a tune. Our engines are very fishy compared to the older models. It looks like a knock of c&l intake but Icould be wrong bc bbk is a legitimate company. I'd get it and then if u c ur car not running right, get a tune for it. Hope this helps
They specifically state it's a "replacment" on their site, and BBK is a reputable company. It looks a LOT like the C&L intake as well, which requires a tune. I don't know if i'd try it, to be honest.
And yes, intakes that are not tuned properly will make the engine run lean, which isn't healthy and will throw CEL's..

that bbk doesnt look the same as Dennis074.0's bbk. little confused here. Dennis' looks more like my AEM Brute Force and the one in american muscle looks like the C&L. will the real bbk please stand up? ha...confusing this is
