Ouch that sucks, ya when i got in my accident i was able to get a GT bumper instead of a v6 bumper, it was cheaper so they didnt care. Like the one said though if its that much then you just pay the difference. Only problem i noticed is tht GT500 looks like its got different headlights and theres a different hood so i dont think it would work. I know the GT500 rear bumper works but havent heard of the front bumper yet.

alot has to be changed on the front fascia, they have to shave off foam, they have to put new brackets and braces on and you need to screw with the wiring and new headlights, you dont need a GT500 hood though.

the GT500 front looks good, but...

1. i wouldn't put it on a daily driver car. if it was a weekend car or something than maybe. so you could keep the chances of something bad down to a minimum.

2. if accident did occur with GT500 front, it might take longer and be more expensive to replace. i'd make sure the insurance company you have will insure the front.

3. if you have a V6, keep it a secret on this forum. way too many mean GT owners that will flame on you if you try to show it off. [&:]

however, if installing a GT500 front is what you want to do and it makes you happy. who cares what others think and do it!

I wrecked the front end of mine playing at the track(don't ask) and priced out the GT500 conversion. It's $1700 just for the parts! I ended up going with a take-off GT front bumper, SS Center-Fog grille, and CDC's Classic spoiler for less than half of that. Which was good since it's on my dime!
