I have the dual Flowmaster AT's...its been probably around 6 months since I have had them, I absolutely love them btw, strongly recommend them. Anywho..I seem to get a slight rattle out of the left muffler every once in a while. I am just wondering if any of you guys have had the same problem,and if so, what did you do to fix it? It sounds like maybe a little something is in the muffler itself...anyway....any help would be appreciated!!

All kidding aside, you may have to crawl under the car to see it you can find the rattle. Look for signs of rubbing. I vaguely remember somebody commenting that their rattle was coming from inside the muffler, which they determined after removing it and shaking it by hand.

well i used to have a big rattling..but that was the left pipe touching the wheel well...this one sounds like its coming from in the muffler..so since its been around 6 months or so since the installation..im thinkin maybe a lose bolt or something..im gonna check it out while at work, ill get back to you tonight, thanks for the help!

I have the same thing. It is the exhaust installation. Either it doesn't have enough room and is banging against something or a clamp is in the wrong place or not tightened enough. Either way something is moving around and it just needs a little re-adjustment. Check to see if the pipe is hitting anywhere, youll notice a ding on the tail pipe.

i got under the car..and banged on the muffler..and it sounds like somethin is definetly in the muffler..im gonna bring it up to the installer this weekend see if they can do anything about it

Just cut the string that has all the cans your draggin....jk

um.. sometimes littlepiecesinside the muffler come loose after time and start to clank around in there. Most common is slag from welding and things like that. Could be your problem...just throwin some pennies at ya...

I just had my duel exhaust setup and getting a rattle as well bellow 2000rpm. for some reason I hear it on the right side where I still have the original Magnaflow Muffler and pipe and not from the left side where new pipe was added. I wonder what gives. climbed under car and banged on everything and even started the car and had someone accelerate while under car and can't trace it. will take it back to muffler shop to investigate.
