ORIGINAL: Buckman

It isn't like i don't know anything about turbo's my man. Obviously i'm not going to buy the turbonetics setup if it is crap, but from my previous experience with some cars with their setups, they do quite a good job.
Don't get your panties in a wad, I was just wondering why you would be choosing this kit. I am not questioning your tech knowledge as I have read other posts from you. Just curious as to if this price included installation or if the difference of $600 bucks was the determining factor. I hope they do decide to come out with this kit as competition breeds a better quality product, but for myself even if this kit did come out and I didn't own a turbo I would go with the PH for the track record of proven performance over a small financial difference.
where did i get my panties in a wad? I don't wear panties personally... [&:]

I am not worried about price all that much if it comes down to a big difference in quality. I just know that turbonetics does make some high quality stuff and they are a pretty big force in the turbo industry. If i can save the money and stll get a quality product, why not? I am just trying to give an idea of what kinda price would be great. The ph kit is for sure great and the price really isn't bad for what you get. I trust that turbonetics will make a very good product if they do this, and i don't see why if they can acheive what i want for 600 bucks less....why would i not buy it?

haha 3,800....that'd be the day. Maybe with no tuning solution and no fuel mods...maybe take some other stuff out of there too to get that low. 4500-4600 IS optimistic for a high quality intercooled setup. Turbonetics could do it though. With the amount of resources they have, it costs them less to produce something than many of the smaller companies. For a totally complete intercooled kit, I expect to AT THE VERY LEAST be over 4k. For a high quality complete kit, if it's not over say 4300 it is a rediculously amazing deal. I am trying to be realistic while being optimistic. I really think this would be great for the aftermarket of our cars too. turbonetics is huge, and two turbos competing means higher quality, and possibly lower prices. We will be seeing many many more fast 6's if turbonetics gets in on this also.

From what I understand our fuel pump is good up to 400hp (same as the GTs have) so all you would need are some injectors which are relatively cheap.I would also go for a custom dyno on a rig like this so yeah lets see 3.8k

im already at 410rwhp (460-480 flywheel hp) on the stock pump. granted its running at 85-90% duty cycle (basically maxed) and thats with 39# injectors (which are also maxed as well)

next step will be a gt500 dual pump and 55+ injectors
