Default Adding MAC headers to the mix

FASTTOYS is having a MAC performance blowout sale..........

I picked up a set of MAC shorty headers just to get alittle more from my exhaust. I will not be removing the cats so I know I wont benefit fully.

As far as whats done right now with the exhaust, I have a custom H-pipe and replacing my dual GT takeoff's with Motoblue SS's

The headers should help abit

Default RE: Adding MAC headers to the mix

They will help a little, I had real trouble getting mine on, other didn't. when you do install them, if you take off the cats at the same time you remove the stock manifolds it will help alot. Also you need to watch out for the brackets that hold on the coil and on the pass side front (I don't remember what that bracket held) You will not be able to install the lower bolts because the mac header flange covers them. Either notch the header or the bracket. I also did not use the bolts that came with the mac headers, so , to install the header I had to remove the first two stude from the head on the drivers side, then reinstall them. You need a female torx socket to do that. I also re used the stock exhaust gaskets, still no leaks.
