x-charger?
the x-charger heads and cams? wtf does that mean lol. His sentence implies that X_CH is the company that created the "heads cams pistons etc." Maybe it is just typed differently than he meant...

doing heads and cams will give u a gain. but u just cant do one and leave the other stock. make sure u dont just get a P&P, open up the valves too, and get new springs , and retainers. u do one, u have to do them all or the system wont work right.

just some head work and new cams will only get you maybe 15 to 25hp gain, IMO, like others mentioned, a lot of variables in the equation.

That seems a bit high you'll be adding 25% of the cars total HP with just a cam and heads. In othere more popular motors this may be doable with proven hard core facts but no one even makes a blank Cam for these cars aside for maybe fords and the heads don't have more that maybe 1 or 2 valve set ups, plus I haven't found any rocker or springs for this either. These heads breath pretty good already. So I hope the person telling you this has first hadn knowledge. 50HP seems like a lot.
Last thing remember HP is not cumulative if the head will add 25 and the cam adds 25 that isn't going to always going to mean 50 it might be only 35 or so.....
GOOD LUCK and I can't wait to see the data....

+1 i think the intake/exhaust before you do heads/cams. As of now we don't have any good results cause gash gained what...25rwhp on the same dyno with just the heads over his bolt on setup previous to the heads...That was with a rough tune too supposedly. Then when he went to the dynojet he got some odd numbers, but ran quite a bit quicker at the track than he was running before after getting used to the car again. Powerhouse seems to think there is alot of room for improvement in our heads also. We still dont really have concrete results, but i can comfortably say gash gained some good power with those heads just by his change in times and his judgement on the power. Don't forget too that he just had i beleive stage 2+ heads. With the cams and the extra valvetrain work with "stage 3" heads or a similar setup, you'd likely gain at least a little power all across the rpm range and you could safely rev the engine quite a bit higher. I still beleive there is quite a bit of power to be had with a good head/cam setup along with an opened up exhaust/intake setup. We just really don't know yet.

gash has had 2 dynojet numbers since the 25rwhp gain on the mustang dyno, and both of them backed up that the mustang dyno read incorrectly.
