Default LT & Shorty Headers.

whats the difference between long tube and shorty headers? and is there a noticable sound difference between the two? and can they be used wih a regular Y-pipe?

Shorty headers bolt right up to the stock parts. Long tube headers require a matching cat/h-pipe system.

I think all of the shorty's out right now are direct replacements for stock, so yes they should fit.

I have the mac shorty headers, and they should bolt up to any combination that would bolt up to the stock cats.
