I had an 86 GT, and you're right - it felt faster at similar speeds. I really like how my 07 Pony Pkg rides and handles - very solid, but also what I'd call 'honest'. Very fun!

believe me....if you step 2 feet away from babying it, you will burnout on start, and chirp into second
I agree. I have no mods, 17" 235's. After i hit2000 miles (2 weeks ago)I startedputting her throughher pacesand I can rip em loose in first gear. Still learning how to drive the manual though. I've been an automatic guy till now. I'm going to take her to the track and see what she can do stock before I get any performance mods.

That "Heat Edition" looks sharp. Was it a dealer option?

Yes, it is a dealer add-on option that is available here at certain dealers in South Florida. It's basically a Roush hood scoop, rear spoiler, and a HEAT badge on the rear and dash. I saw it and loved it because it was different from any of the factory models. Only available on the V6. I drove it once andsaid "I'll take it." I'm thinking of taking off the stripes on the side and hood though. What do you think?
