Default Flowmaster AT

Hey. I just put on a Flow AT on Weds. I noticed in the package there was a little piece of paper that said I might want to put a heat shield on top of the muffler. I felt inside my trunk on top of the muffler today and it was pretty warm. My question is, have any of you put a heat shield in? Do your trunks get warm? Just don't want to burn her up.
Thanks

umm that may be a problem. It shouldnt be anydiffrent then stock. I think maybe its mounted wrong and its transmitting heat through your frame. I have no problem with my exhaust.

It lines up perfectly like the stock muffler did. I've had it looked at and was told it was on right. I was kind of thinking the same thing you were. I didn't really think to feel if my trunk got warm with the stock one on.
