Got vandalized last night...
That's why I don't like parking outside over night. If I leave one of my cars outside even for one night, I worry about it. I used to have problems with neighbors, some got shot and killed, others just got scared and moved away. But there's still a little bit that lingers. Mostly people tend to damage cars when they get upset on the road or if they have personal issues with the driver (eg you looked at him the wrong way or you are in his territory). I managed to **** off someone driving an import last month in my neighborhood so I always keep a close eye on my vehicle. These 05-07 mustangs really stand out and are very easy to spot, unlike the typical civic or subaru that just happens along. Gotta be a little more careful with these things even if you have no mods or stripes.

I keep brass knuckles in my console and a shotgun in the house but they dont help much if you dont catch the person while they are at work.

The solution to that problem is to simply kill everyone, you are bound to get the one who did it. Hint, buy lots of ammunition.
