Why is the first question out of anybody's mouth when they see my car is "Is it a 6 or an 8?" Anyone who knows jack about stangs knows how to tell and that it really doesn't matter, its the difference between fast and faster.

 

+1 to that! im so sick of people saying that. christ havnt u seen the commercials. even someone who doesnt own a mustang should be able to tell. ONE SAYS GT THE OTHERS HAVE A TRIBAR EMBLEM.

 

i feel u on tht. +1 and the whole "Y didnt u get a GT?" thing... this is my answer, u know what urabsolutly right, i'm going to go trade it in right now, and finance it under ur name, so i can drive it while u make the payments for me. after all u want to live ur life through me right.

Yeah I know i get that all the time. They are like why are you upgrading a v6, Why did you put a supercharger on a v6. God I hate that. I love the look of the new mustangs and with a 6 it is a lot cheaper for me to own and play with. When I want some serious power I will just get a viper or a z06 then all those v8 mustang guys wont have a chance even if they supercharge it. I'm thinkin I will get an older viper or z06 when I turn 25 when my insurance goes down and I get this car paid off. But 400 horses on a cheap v6 insurance is unbeatable!!!

 

The V8 and V6 S197 are great cars. The V6 and V8 in previous generations are great cars. Hell even the 4 banger versions are great cars. In summary, the stang is a great car. Cheers.

 

Maybe next time someone asks the retard question, I will just say "It is the exact model, engine and year that I wanted and I love it"

 

because they want to find something wrong with your beautiful car to makew themselves feel better. Thats why they go why dont u get a v8 instead. Its called "envy". Thats my story and im sticking to it.

 

I just take them for a little "spin".. and they shut the hell up after that. Also... unless they are driving something faster.. it just makes them look stupid if they ask it sarcastically.

 

Said by the guy getting out of the Honda Oddesy or Civic....screw um. Its you car and I'll tell you what its better than 95% of the cars on the road today. Its a stang with tons of power and tons of fun.....
Let them ask as you jump into the S197 and drive off laughing....
