Escort 8500 X50 is a great radar also theres a bel thats basically the same and the Valentine one is great also but very expensive. Stay away from Cobras, hehe no offense basketballord I have read up on these things. I think Escort just came out with a new radar you might want to look into taht one also.

Get the Escort 8500 X50, the new version has POP (i think thats the new one) + you can get it at $299 via amazon. Make sure you get a laser jammer, going to set you back another 300.

But thoset two combined = almost impossible to get a ticket.

DON'T BE FOOLED!

Yes good radar detectors should give you ample warning BUT NONE give an invisablity cloak! IF you going to speed you still need to be on your toes and be smart!
Escort 8500 x50 w Zr3 laser shifter is what I am currently running as is very good, but last ticke was becasue I had the top down and tunes up! Towards the end of one of my favorite songs I heard an odd sound as my RD was screeming LASER as loud as it could!! Seems the cop picked me upabout 1100ft out and knew I was speeding but his laser gun was giving an inaccurate speed until about 200ft out and I didn't notice until 300 foot out and slowed down to 90. He know something was up but I just said, "hey it must have been the fact the top was down and that's whyyou wasn't getting good laser reflection" He wasn't buying it and walked to the front and inspectedit looking for something..... lol He must not have known what he was either looking for or what laser shifters look like because they were there! he said nothing but wrotethe ticket and saidhave a nice daylol

they are okay, i prefer the v-1 personally, and it also tells you where the po po is, which is awesome. i have a beltronics vector 995, which is made by the same company who makes radar guns for the cops so i feel confident in it. Haven't been pulled over so far. lucky me.

Best radar....Join a Volunteer Fire Department. We had a town evacuated due to a flood in april, and I was caught by a state trooper doing 100 down mainstreet of that road. He walked over, told me to cool it,and left. Since I joined cops usually just wave no matter what your doing.

...I only went that fast because I knew there was NO ONE in that town except for me and a couple of cops. I don't normally drive like a reckless ******* haha

Great way to represent the BADGE, WFT are you thinking say that kinda stuff on an open forum. 100 down a street? Show a lil more respect to the badge than that.

The badge in general, the name of the city and poeple of the city he serves. It doesn't matter if its Voly or full time or whatever, you don't go posting comments like that nor do you put people at risk by doing 100 MPH down main street and then brag about it. Its stupidity! and tasteless.
