Laser jammers are an absolute scam.

I just bought a Passport 9500i and I love, love, love it.

I can't believe how many jams it's gotten me out of!

It's got this really cool feature that lets you mark a speed trap. It notifies you when you're near the speed trap so you don't get a ticket. And you don't get false signals.

Am I the only one? Has anyone else tried the Passport 9500i?

I use a whistler XTR-690. It is pretty good, I have avoided a couple tickets on I-20 with it. I find it pretty useless when I am in the Houston city limits, constantly goes off even in city mode.

I would get a valentine though, those are the best. I would have gotten a ticket today cause there was a cop right over a steep hill and my detector did not pick anything up till I got over the hill. Luckily I was not speeding. It was worth the $120, but I dont plan on *always* going 100 mph either.

That's a pretty cool feature, I know they have very high quality detectors.

I have had Beltronics Pro X65 for over a year now and has saved me well over the $300.00 I paid for it.
I also have lazer license plate shields and they do work! Buy a top grade detector if your going to buy one.
As someone stated, go to radarbusters.com to know everything there is to know about radar and detectors.
Happy speeding
