H Pipe question

Default H Pipe question

My question is can i buy someones takeoff GT h-pipe and use it on my car to go duals? Do i need anything extra? I found someone selling one for very cheap. Thanks in advance for the help.

yea you can use the GT H pipe......thats what i did............I cut the downpipes after the cats and welded up the H pipe to it.......you'll also need a left side mid pipe ...........oh yea nd youll need 2 hangers for the left side also......if you need any help let me know........I did the whole thing myself.....

Yeah I did this too, but as stated above (kinda) these do not bolt up to the V6, you have to do some cutting and welding. This is no problem for a muffler shop, probaly $50-$100 for the cutting and welding.

I put an oem h pipe and dual gt take off mufflers, and the sound is very pleasant, a growl not a rice sound
i used hangers from another v6 for 5.00 dlls each i found in a wreking yard and just inverted the position and voila! new exhaust set up.
