ORIGINAL: VictoriaRR

There was a TSB for the the S-197? I must've been under a rock (or out of town).
Had the EXACT same problem, 2-4 times a day...

TSB 06-9-9 Fuel Pump replacement (new model).

Had mine done.

STILL had problem.

Went to FULL DUALs and the problem was eliminated.

Too much back pressure and a new model fuel pump.

Never another bog EVER since doing both! 15,000+ miles

if the fuel pump is not the problem then turning overdrive off is a possible solution. i used to experience that once in awhile before i got my car tuned and i would just hit the OD button on the shift lever to turn off the overdrive and i was good to go. kinda sucked that it had this problem in the first place.

As of yet I've been unable to get to the dealership to get the car checked. I've just had so much going on and haven't had the time. The car hasn't done it to me anymore, but I also haven't slammed the accelerator after a yield to get on the highway. Otherwise it probably might do it. In any case, I'm looking to get a CAI by the end of the month, just don't know which to go with. If the dealer can't fix it hopefully that will.
