I don't get it. Ford has an option for the GT & GT500 for supercharger kits giving them 100 more horses. Why can't they offer something for us too? It's not like the technology doesn't exist.
Unless it would conflict with Carrol Shelby's CS6 kits?

I've heard a rumor that FRPP will be offering a supercharger for the 4.0. I think the one they offer for the GT is a whipple, so it might be similar to that.

I spoke to a guy who says he spoke to a guy from FRPP...
Supposedly, the kit will add 70 to 80 rwhp, and since it is a FRPP is warrented if it is installed by a qualified dealer. I talked to my dealership a while ago about the FRPP performance pack for the GT's, and they said that if it is installed when the car is new, it is covered under the new car warranty. If it is installed after the car is purchased then it is warranted for 1 year.
So far, I haven't seen anything official on it, so it's just rumour.

Whats the big deal? Ford has offered the whipple for a while now. Is it an option on the window sticker or something?
