Which do you prefer - silver or original?
I have an 06 pony package with the original colored bullitt rims. I may be one of the very few that actually likes the silver color on the 07+ better than the original. I've considered selling the originals and getting a set of silvers.. but it'd be a minor downgrade because the silver GT take offs don't have the pony emblems on them they have the ugly Ford logos.

what do you mean by "original"? the gray ones? thats what i have but actually wanted the silver ones in the beginning. i found a good deal on a set of used ones which is why i have the gray bullits. now that i have em, i'm very satisfied with them.

I hope to get some of the gray style ones in the future once I move away from HI (shipping costs suck!). The gray ones remind me of my old Torq-Thrust IID's that I had on my '68 El Camino. Much nicer looking than the silver in my opinion.

I think the polished ones would look better on my redfire than the gunmetal ones do, but it seems more trouble and money than it's probably worth to get new rims for something so close to what I have already.

I have the grey Bullitts on my '06, but I bought a set of silver Bullitts to mount snow tires for my wife's vert. In the summer, it sports the 17" Ford polished rims, yet the silver rims in the winter look almost as good. I don't have shots to compare, but here's a shot with the summer rims
To the OP, you could always paint your Bullitts any color you'd like.
