Default Going Duals!

Within the next month I am going duals. I already have a GT take-off H pipe, and over axel pipes. I am going to go MRT dual mufflers since I like their sound over my JBA's and want a louder exhaust.I am also thinking aboutgetting JBA shorty headers too.The main ? I have for this poll is, do u think shorty headers and dual MRT's r too loud and will get me pulled over? or r the Dual MRT's with shorty headers gonna be fine? I'm not sure wether or not to do the shorty's with this set-up. So, gimme ur input and experiences to help me out here. Thanx for the help ahead of time!

Can't go wrong with Pypes Street Pros (or Violators).

Nice & quiet until you hammer it:

Just fun:

Nice low rumble at idle:

Never cared for the MRTs myself.

Liked the MagnaFlow but WAY too expensive.

If you have the $$ go for the headers. You do want loud, right?

Just take your foot off the gas when you fly by a radar trap.

I would definately go with the shorty JBA headers. Dont you already have the JBA mufflers? The ABSOLUTE best exhaust sound on a v6 mustang IMO has been JBA shorties with H pipe and JBA mufflers. It is the closet sound to a V8 that you could get. I think you would be surprised what those JBA's would sound like with the shorties. Also JBA's shorty header will improve the flow just enough to take care of that annoying "popping" sound when you rev. As for the MRT's, dont really care for the note, its really loud but too high pitched for that muscle sound.

yeah some people do like that popping and cracking sound but to me it reminds me too much of these imports running up and down the road with mufflers larger than their engines, I wont use themost over used slang "rice" though [&:]

IMO exhaust is supposed to have a low, deep rumble instead of sounding like a pissed off weedeater

what exhaust do you have? most seem to have that popping effect at high rpm's. so the best way to get rid of that is with headers?

"instead of sounding like a pissed off weedeater " that is funny as hell!!

I didn't care for the MRT either the drone inside at cruise was terrible not to mention the rice fart can sound IMO. Dual mrt's must be worse!!
But I know alot of guys like them
