Hey steel I have been reading your posts and correct me if I am wrong your in school and don't have cash to burn. If that's the case I would do dual Gt take offs for now you'd be putting the money into the dual set up and the GT take-offs would be cheap. If by chance you don't like the Gt take-offs there are always guys here that will buy them off you and you can then go to any mufflers you want. Problem with after market mufflers is that the sound is subjective one guy thinks they sound great and the other may not. If you buy JBA's and don't like them ....... you're going to take a hit on reselling them.
As for the drone you say you don't mind cause of your gears whining at high speeds. The drone is at about 2200-2400 RPM while cusing at 65 believe me it sucks.
Hope I did'nt give unwanted advise good luck man.

Thanx for the help, yeah I'm incollege, but I went JBA's mufflers regardless of the price b/c sound is worth more than money. I liked the JBA's over theGTtake-off's b/c I think the JBA's sound a bit deeper. Sound I have to listen to where ever I go and I don't do much highway driving but around 45mph I get the gear whine and with this new set-up(shorty headers, h-pipe, and duals), it might be able to be overpowered. I'll update u when it's installed, v6mustangstuff.com said 3 days to 2 weeks[:@] for shipping! Thanx for the idea though!

Oh yeah, I had a little leeway in spending on the mufflers b/c I got overaxel pipes and the gt take-off h-pipe for only $90 used! Save a couple hundread there, so I had some money left over to get the exhaust done now so it can break-in in the winter, and hopefully it will sound nice and deep by the time next yr comes! Kinda like my voice which is very deep, damn hormones!

there's a few types of JBA shorty's, there's jba's longtube I think and Mac Long Tube. Could be Mac shorty's but I don't think so. Check v6mustangstuff.com. They have a lot of em.
