Could you put 8.5" wide wheels on the pony package tires?

u could definitly get away with it if their made for 8.5" wide rims, people put tires that are an inch too wide for their rims and get away withit! Sometimes wider!

If you look at the specs of a tire it will recomend the width of rim to put them on. Currently I have a 10.5 inch wide tire on a 7 inch wide rim. The tire recommends at least a 7.5 inch rim... so I ama little undersized. Also depends a lot on how tall your tire is, the taller the tire the more range you will have on rim width.
