ok so i was drivin down the streets of SA. I see a white mustang with a blacked out tail panel. So i speed up to go get a closer look. I get right up next to it, and on the back and side of it, it said fastback. Which i have never seen on a mustang before. And thinkin that this car was REALLY fast, the light infront of us turned red.. He revved his engine,and initially i wasnt going to race cus 1. you can go to jail for that, and 2. His car looked really fast/ (it was standard so even if it was the same engine hed a killed me.) So he starts revving his engine, and we are side by side. The light turns green and i casually take off, and He burns out and freakin flys off the line. It was about a mile to the next light. I started catching up to him, and im like "ohh might as well" so i gun it, i pass him up and im like "yeaaaaaaaaaaa", and then in like .4 seconds he passes me going like a gazillion miles and hour. I was about a car length behind him for half a mile or so. The next light was green and even though i was supposed to turn left we just kept going. Even though it was really fun, i stopped at the next light and made a turnaround. By this time im pretty sure he was like 12 car lengths ahead of me.
Now i didnt post this so i can hear all this SH** from the people who opppose greatly to racing. I oppose it too, this was my first time. I posted this because anyone that has been in this situation, prolly feels that our sixes pu**ies compared to the big boys(aka saleen, FASTBACK?, Roush, Shelby and even GT) Sorry but this night made me realize this. Now i want a GT, i originally got a mustang cus i loved the way they look. Now i may be addicted to power and not so much looks. Please, anyone else, be honest, FEEL THIS WAY?

Actually, there is a "fastback" option - most likely a regional dealer-installed option. There is a member here with one.

really? does it look any different than our cars, because these are pretty much wanna-be almost kinda fastback.

 

yea all it really is, is a dleaership vinyl and emblem option so since were not hondas and decals dont add 50 hp the package doesnt do anything performance wise. but i know how you feel that is in like may im going to be getting a gt or 04 cobra.

 

Matt, plain and simply, you got your ***** cut off! When you make the decision like I did to go six, you better have a deep wallet. Screw the gas mileage, discover the horsepower! OK, you saved $10,000 buying the V6, but you've also gave up 90 horsepower according to factory specs. If you want to spend about $8000 like I have to lighten up the car and add horsepower, then yahoo! I've done everything to my V6 to lighten it up and add horsepower short of adding a supercharger. I estimate I now have about 250 flywheel horsepower in a 3000 lb. vehicle. It runs pretty damn good for a grandma looking car. Maybe I'll eventually go supercharger, but 3 grand seems a little outta sequence with my game plan of "little ad ons." Keep the faith, Jack.

what the hell did you spend 8k on? For 8k you coulda had oen of the turbo setups and all the supporting mods you could want.

 

Clay, anybody that puts a picture of a LAWNMOWER, VTEC or otherwise, on this website has the right to respond to my email like you did. Realistically, my expenditure is more like 5 to 6 grand, but irrespective of cost, I've dumped a bundle into my "stang." It'll light up the new Michelins (new tires courtesy of a flat) with no problem, thanks to the helpof the 4.10s & T-Lok. I would have originally bought a GT but paying an additional 10 grand just wasn't in my scenario. Keep the opinions coming, I love it, take care and be strong, Jack.
