Default supercharger installation

As of now, I am waiting for the x-charger with intercooler to be available hopefully by next year and was considering doing the install myself. I was wondering if anybody hadexperience or heard information about Procharger'sinstallation for the do it yourselfer. I like the idea of having a car that I was able to perform a lot of the upgrades myself, which will likely exclude turbos and I don't like the idea of tapping into the oil pan for the Vortech. So I may be left with decisionx-charger vs procharger. Also if anyone has thoughts on their general preference between the two that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance [align=right]

Default RE: supercharger installation

Unike some people, because I own one, I don't feel a need to run the other down.

Both the "X" and the Procharger are good units. My preference for the "X" is mainly based on looks, the way it sounds, and the low end torque on the street at low RPMs (I'm not a track junkie).

The intercooled Procharger will net you a bit better 1/4mi times (though the X will be in the hunt when the intercooler option hits the streets).

I don't think you'd go wrong either way.
