Default BBK 70mm Throttle Body Problem

Hey all,

ok... so I installed this last night and if anyone is familiar with it id really appreciate any input. First mistake I made was forgetting to reset the spring inside the motor housing... so... yeah... car wouldnt run for the most part lol... fixed that... rotated it about 180 degrees... maybe a tad more or less ... not exact. Now the car runs fine.. idle is a little above normal... but the check engine light is still on ... somthing about the throttle body accuator and another about a forced idle or somthing being stuck open... Do I need to rotate that spring a bit more or is there somthing else im missing.

Thanks, if I didnt put enough info here please ask, thanks again

Default RE: BBK 70mm Throttle Body Problem

I had everything configured right. I think I might be idling a tad higher than I remember... but not by much... maybe like 100rpm... I installed a C&L true flow CAI, BBK 70mm Throttle body, and a tune that came with my diablo predator for the C&L... everything runs fine except when I have the gas peddle depressed at a certain point I hear a high pitched extended squeeking noise from my engine... not sure exactly what it is, still trying to figure it out... its not RPM dependant though, i figured that much out.. and it only happens when the accelerator is depressed... so that leads me to think it has somthing to do with the Throttle body... if anyone has any ideas, please let me know, thanks
