I'm just curious how far do your mufflers stick out from the bumper? I'm mainly talking about those who have made the bumper cut and are using GT takeoffs.
Pictures from standing above looking down would help.

Hey 07 Stang,
1 1/2" from the top of the cut out to the end of the tip.

Edit: Sorry, I'm an idiot. I had different tips put on.[&:]

I kinda wanted to go for a walk anyway so here's what I got:

from the top, with a slight angle

fairly close to straight above it but slight angle

from the side

luckily I had my calipers on me so I measured and it sticks out 2.600" from the bumper (just take my word for it) which sounds like a lot but because of the steep angle in the bumper, it's just about perfectly flush from directly above.
Hope that helped someone, sorry for the bluriness, I used my cameraphone and it's raining right now.

I'll try to get some pics of mine today and post them -- I had a custom shop take care of centering them up and he measured but I forget now how far they stick out. They are the stock GT style, no rolled tips. Looks very similar to Optras camera phone pics though

Great info guys. I'm gonna measure mine and see how far they stick out. Sometimes they appear to be sticking out more than normal.....then it could just be my imagination.
Now if I add chrome tips, would they extend out even further?

It was already dark when I got home, and I forgot to take my camera with me this morning, so not the best pictures but here are a couple shot from above each muffler and from the sides. I tried to get a full perspective of both tips but it was just too dark.

I have the GT500 mufflers, but they are really just the stock GT muffler, no rolled tips. This is on the cut V6 bumper, not the GT take off bumper. They are only black like the Flowmaster AT because I painted them - I can also see that I need to wash the car, and it was just a little wet on the road coming home!
