I wonder what the guy owns that isn't giving him trouble? How much goes wrong around him?
It never ceases to amaze me how certain types drive otherwise perfectly good running vehicles off the lot only to have them come back with all kinds of problems, then when they leave it for a diagnosis, nothing can be found wrong with it. Then they come pick it up and lo and behold, it starts friggin up again. Hint hint!
What the hell is wrong with you dude? Why don't you stop flaming me? Are you looking for drama? Are you one of those types that cannot go a day without insulting or condescending someone? I'm happy for you that your brand new 2007 mustang is giving you no problems. But some of us bought older models with lacking engineering that leads to known problems. But yours isn't bulletproof either and don't come crying here when your passenger side starts leaking water. Thanks.

Hisliek0722,
sorry, I did pick on you a little bit.
But theword condescending doesn't fit the crime.
I was quite overt about what I said and meant.
Anyway, why don't you quit crying about your problems and get something effective done about it!

Now you are just outright tooling me here. You don't even have any reason to, I feel like you're just trying to be a jerk for no reason. But I do know you have no arguement because I've owned a 97 mustang that went to 150k with just an altenator failure along the way and a 2002 mustang that went to 64k with zero problems whatsoever and then I get a 2006 that has had more problems in 30k miles than the other two combined, among with half the other users who own a 2005-2006 mustang. And this is the fault of my own, and my lack of "being handy" rather than Ford's quality slipping? Yeah okay there buddy. Stop flaming me now, you have nothing.

i have to agree with sliek, the quality is missing in a lot of ways, and it is very disappointing because I spent a lot of money on this car. anyways best of luck getting the problems fixed, and realize that how much you know about cars has nothing to do with whether or not your car is more likely a lemon than someone elses. Find a good Ford dealer that you trust and get good service at, and realize that all makes have problems, and hopefully you get your issues resolved because I know how frustrating it is to have crappy service and a broken car.

Yeah I would have to say that 70% of my frustration has been from the horrible customer service of the Ford Dealers. I'm not the most handy with cars but I do know it only takes a few hours to fix a fuel pump, not a week and a half. And I do know that water leaking on the passenger side is a TSB that's supposed be covered under warranty - I'm not just being a finicky customer and NO I didn't have the windows open when it was raining (can you believe that?)

I really love the way my car looks and I get lots of head turns (go torch red) when I'm driving down the road.

I love my Mustang. Have done 1 cross-country trip and 2 trips to Iowa from California with it. The only problems that I have had were minor. (Front End Alignment, fuel filler neck problems, and an old lady opening her car door into me at Palm Springs) I have owned a gamut of both foriegn and domestic vehicles, and this one has topped the list for reliability. It makes the Tundra I owned look like a lemon. Every cross country trip (X4) and trips home (X9) in the 6 years I owned the Tundra, I had to have some work done. The worst being a timing belt. I even told my brother, who drives only GM (I think he is mental), he needed to get one.

Sliek0722 - I can understand your frustration with Ford dealerships. I had to call the regional office on the one in Califronia, because of their poor performance. My only advice in dealing with horrible Customer service is remember, everyone has a boss. Do not be afraid to call the regional service manager if you need to or insist on talking to the owner of the dealership. Sometimes they are so concerned about selling cars that they don't keep as close an eye on their service department as they should. So keep fighting the good fight.

BTW I have an '06 with 32K. Most of those are from my trips and move to Virginia from Cali. I drive a total of about 58 miles a day in Washington DC traffic to work and back. I would go insane if I had to drive anything else.
