Default drifting the silver fox!

so i came out of the movie theather yesterday night and i was with my girlfriend when all of the sudden i start thinking of the ford commercial where the pp mustangs where drifting the turns like mad. Thinking to myself that since now i have 10 more hp to play with thanks to my duals, i should be able to pull it off on my car since its an auto. So i keep on driving and i see a perfect curve up ahead the parking lot. It was wide and not so curvish. It was just perfect. so somehow remembering scenes from tokyo drift lol i took the front of the turn wide than i immediatly turned the oppisite way and gave it 4000 revs and just like magic without even puttin e brake on i managed to get slightly sideways and safely back out. it was a pretty good slide considering it was my first and my car seems to amaze me more everyday i think i love my car more than my girlfriend jajajjaj

I'm speechless, and not with amazement...

Do you have any suspension mods or other drivetrain mods other than your dual exhaust?

Is it even possible to drift without limited slip? By drifting, I mean controlled oversteer, not sliding through a corner with no ability to control the vehicle and hoping that the car recovers before you hit something. Not to mention that the suspension is purposely designed to promote understeer because it is easier to predict and control.

i didnt slide unpredictably and thats why i didnt gun it all the way as i said i halfway throttled up to 4k revs and thats it could have gone further to get more tire spin but i dont want to hurt my baby anyways what does trying to do something in my car have to do about what i want to do in life? jajajaj and yes i do im 17 and im out of high school studying biology in utep to get into med school so yeah i do know what im doing in my life and im aware of the damage that my car could take thats why i dont push it.

Yea, if you were on dry pavement, in addition to the fact that your short an LSD, you were probably just spinning your passengers side wheel and jumping on the drivers side. I wouldn't 'drift' your car that often.

jajaj learned my lesson no more "drifting"but anyways i just wanted to see if the pp mustang commercial where they are all drifting could actually be done on a stock mustang. and just like the saying goes curiosity killed the cat
