Default RE: Ford hesitation

I just replaced my own pump a few weeks ago with a new Ford pump carrying the revised part number. I noticed this hesitation problem the very first time I drove my 05 home from the dealership in Nov of 04. I had about a 45 minute drive home on the interstate, upon exiting the interstate the car fell on it's nose and then accelerated normally, 72 miles on it and I wasn't happy. At that time not enough info was available on the problem for Ford to even address it. I have lived with it until the pump change out as stated earlier. It really wasn't a big problem until I installed the X Charger, then it was real bad .Since going to the new part number pump it has ran great, so for that problem the new part number fuel pump will definately fix it.

Chevrolet had a issue similar to this with their 95-98 S-10 blazers. The remedy to their problems with air in the fuel system was to remove the pulsulator.
