+1 i think a single sounds better on this motor and unless your building some serious hp yu dont need duals. alot of people locally have put duals on there 40s and i havent heard one that sounds as good as the single. im doing a single 26" mid muffler and 22" ss resonated 5" tips. im adding a left tip just for the look of duals.

best advice i can give is do what i did.
find a muffler you like the sound of and purchase a RH and LH side PAIR of them
but only install one until you get more cash

My setup is as follows from the links:
GT Take-Off Mufflers (They're 74.99)
Pypes Performance 2005 + V6 X-Pipe and Mid Pipes (The 285.99 one)

Some other PAIRS of mufflers:
Here's A Few
All found in that link above:
Pypes axle-back 219.99
Magnaflow axle-Back 449.99
MAC axle-Back 329.99
JBA Evol axle-back 311.99
Flowmaster Axle-back 329.99

The Pypes axle back is what I have for sale, new in box. (almost - the right side was installed for 2 weeks.) I'd take $125 plus shipping.

if you do duals, go true, not two "y"s. not worth it. but yeah. nothing looks better than 2 huge 4" tips on the back of our cars. i think duals look better on our stock bumper w/ a cutoutthan on a GT bumper. jmo though. our cars its looks over performance. but go with what you like. pypes makes a well fit stainless system for around 400 delivered. you can install in you garage, but then i'd spend an extra 60 or so to have them welded shut. and cutting it yourself isnt that bad, just have a template and an erasable marker (expo) and a dremel tool or sawsall. you can always go back and cut more out, just dont cut too much the first time. and dont let the edge rest on the tip, they get hot and it will melt the plastic onto the tip.
