Man. I'm jittery doing just above the speed limit as it is. Being a Park Ranger I know cops "see" our cars stand out more than others. Going 90 your just asking for trouble. I have an '06 (February). So far, 2 years next month and no trouble (knock on wood). Don't need the hassle.

At 90mph, I don't hear any strange sound like you said. I don't have any idea. If you worry about it, take your car to the dealer. My car V6, auto. 2005.

Hey guys this is my first post.

I have a 2007 V6 and noticed today that when I hit 90MPH there is a weird noise. Its kind of like an air/fuel jetting noise (sorry if this doesn't make any sense.) but when I hit 95 or so the noise stops, and doesn't return until I get to 90 and then goes away under 90.

If anyone knows the cause of this it would alleviate a lot of worry.
Thank you.

Yeah thanks I think we have cleared that up I need to slow down. But when I take it to the track in a couple weeks and hear this noise I want to know what it is.

Also I found a leaf in the filter compartment so that may be one reason, but I doubt it.

Cabbage, if you had a leaf in your MAF, I would suggest replacing your filter just to be safe in case anything else got in there. It very well could have been that leaf making the noise also.

I would not tell the dealer about the noise at 90, as they could void your warranty if they wanted to be an asshat about it.

It shouldn't matter how fast your going, just see what RPM's your running at 90 when the noise starts and then try and rev your engine to the same RPM range see if it happens again.
