Default 90 MPH Trouble

Hey guys this is my first post.

I have a 2007 V6 and noticed today that when I hit 90MPH there is a weird noise. Its kind of like an air/fuel jetting noise (sorry if this doesn't make any sense.) but when I hit 95 or so the noise stops, and doesn't return until I get to 90 and then goes away under 90.

If anyone knows the cause of this it would alleviate a lot of worry.
Thank you.

Could simply be air flow over the body or under the hood.
Could be the throttle body position causing a hiss or sort of whistle at part throttle which is normal.
If you are hearing it at WOT, don't worry about it. She's just gulpin a lot of air!
Are you running a CAI and tune by any chance or is it all stock?

Slow down? Why?

Its all stock. (its the Fiances so I will mod it after the wedding.) It sounds like it's engine, not "air flow over the body or under the hood."

Also I am hearing it at WOT and when I am cruising at 90 but like I said after that it cuts out kinda like it blew out a clog or somthing.

Thank you,

so you just think that its taking in a lot of air then? I think I missed somthing. Also I see you have a CAI do the K&N CAI require a tune?

Don't know about K and N but mine does.
So you don't have a CAI or you do?
If you do then you'll hear unfamiliar noised at various throttle postions and loads.
Still, you could be hearing just that with a stock air box too. I don't know as I didn't run my stock air box very long before I converted her to duals, CAI etc. I made the mods like when she was no more than a couple weeks old ;-).

u ive sped my share of times, but i dont regularly cruise at 90.

i said slow down because ur gonna get a ticket eventually, not if, when.

and now ur sayin its when ur goin 90, then go WOT? only time im doin that is at the track. to each his own though.

I don't have a CAI to clear that up. and I was going 90 for a short period of time, like passing.

Thanks.
