Can u use the shaker hood scoop with and after market intake just wondering it i do this and i later wanna do a super charger can i still use it i havent seen how it sits on the motor os where they pyoes come down to take in air and help would be great thank you!!!

 

Yes you can use a CAI, you just have to do a little modification to the heat shield.

I don't believe you can install a supercharger & shaker. I think it's either/or.

 

you can do a supercharger as well as a shaker.....ive seen it done

 

If you can, please link me up with some info. I would LOVE to do that.

 

thanks guys just didnt want to cut my hood open and then not be able to supercharge or turbo it whatever i decide it there any horse gain with the shaker???

 

Shaker is 90% cosmetic, 10% performance. It does suck in cold air for your intake, but the amount of air is all dependent on how fast your moving. It's a minimal gain.

you loose the ability for a roots style s/c (like the x-cahrger) a centrifigul or a trubo would still work (i.e. Vortech, STS, etc.) with some minor heat sheild mods

Yea I was just about to say... I planned on going x-charger...

but if I could have a shaker & supercharger I would consider going a different supercharger
