In my case, the assymetry was a no no.
So I adapted a V8 System on mine. Not easy for a non fabricator, if you guys wanna try this yourself.
I had to poke a hole below the driver side logo so the oil filler neck would go through (see pic).
I used a neck from the GT, cut it in half and reconected with some PVC and gluefrom Home Depot to get the correct offset.[8D]

I also shaved the thins on the top of the intake off and relocated the coil pack a tad.
Finally, I made a bracket to secure the back of the engine cover.

Pascal; did you get your system from Cervini's? It looks as if you have the 60's hood that they supply with there system. Just wondering because that is the system that I'm looking at to purchase.

Thanks, I looked at the CDC Foose hood and although I like the look the hood with the shaker system will run me $1875.00 from CDC before tax and shipping. Cervini’s has a package deal for $1249.00 https://www.cervinis.com/product.aspx?car=1&id=1208#8027 here is the link but I’m sure you guys are all aware of it. I just like both hoods and the fact that I don’t have to deal with cutting my original hood.

So if I go with this product using my original air box what kind of S/C should I be looking at in the future?

As we speak, Vortech/Paxton (same company now)is themost efficient for Centris.
Pro-charger isn't far behind though.

Hey 1bad (or anyone for that matter), If you are looking to get a shaker hood scoop, I have a CDC one sitting in the box in my bedroom. I decided not to install it just right now, the money could be better spent elsewhere. Man, kills me to say that.
