never had a drop-in for my stang but i had one for my ranger back in the day. i felt a bit quicker response on throttle. other than that subtle change, not much else. its still a great part to have if you're replacing the paper filter........"paper filter", it just sounds bad[:'(]. nice gift vic and yeah, make sure you put that sticker on!

I felt a change on mine with just the drop in (didn't take long to get used to the feel though) and its nice because it lasts forever so you never have to buy another one if you never upgrade to the CAI/tune. Oh and happy birthday (belated and PM sent) J

K&N FTW!!!! NIce cheap mod with very little HP increase (if any) but lasts forever (which is longer than most cars or relationships for that matter these days!)[&:]

ORIGINAL: VictoriaRR

Maybe I'm in the minority, or maybe it's my switch to synthetic oil last week, my tire rotation (also last week), and the K&N filter, but I definitely do feel a little bit more power. It's mostly when I accelerate from a stop. (Though I doubt the rotation has anything to do with it). My father noticed it as well. Now I've just gotta stick that little K&N sticker on top of the airbox.

I'm not sure if I'm going to tune it yet, but my next mod (when I get my tax return) is duals with an X. I'm going to get a second AeroTurbine and probably the JBA X pipe and midpipes, which I think is what Fallout did. Then probably the sequential tail lights, and then maybe a tune and UDPs. I try to take it one mod at a time.

And thanks, OIIIIO!
