Default New to mustangs!!! Help!!

Hey guys! I recently got a 2005 Mustang V6, used. It's a stick withabout 59k miles on it. I love going fast on my car but I want more speed and performance. I've been doing lots of research and I think I know what to do with my stang. I'm thinking about getting an Airaid CAI (AID-450-177), JBA titanium ceramic coated Cat4ward headers, and JBA Evol Exhaust systems (JBA-26-2631). Is this a good plan? I want gains in horsepower, torque, and speed. Please give me any suggestions and advice. I have about $1.4k limit at the moment. I'm a noob and I need advice

Get an intake and tuner and true duals. I don't know much about the airraid intake, to be honest, but it's always a good idea to have a tuner when you're adding an intake to stay clear of problems with air/fuel ratios. Dual exhaust is good, if you've decided that you want a JBA system, then I don't think anyone would give you problems with it, but be sure that it's the "style" that you want. If you have money leftover, then get the headers, although there is more gain from long tubes than shorty's and even those are hardly noticeable. Gears are good for accelerating, but (obviously) don't add horsepower. All in all, your idea seems pretty decent. Keep reading around, I knew nothing about cars before I came here.

I would personally go with this setup:
1) CAI (either C&L or JLT) + Tune (I love the b a m a chips one) 93 torque = :-) = 640 ish bucks (20 or so hp at wheels)

2) a cat back, or even a X-pipe (or H) with dual catbacks. = pricing depends 400 ish to 500ish. (10 or so hp at wheels)
and thats all really.

you're looking at a 30 hp increase at the wheels, maybe a tad more than that. Not bad at all for the money.

Right there, you have a responsive car that is pretty quick, and unless you want a track beast, I don't see why you would dump more $ into the car than that.

Headers unless you're going forced induction is not worth it.

I got a little out of the headers, the exhaust changed in my favor though. It's a little throatier, and deeper.

headers make a difference. theyve been dyno'ed to show gains that are significant. somewhere around 7-10 hp i believe. N/A too.

is that for long tubes or shorty's though? Long tubes sound better and add more power but they're difficult as hell to put in.
