oh and if you decide to mount the subs like i did mine, make sure you use sealed (and i meanCOMPLETELY SEALED)boxes. you cant port inside the cabin or have any air escaping. sounds like ****. i found that out the hard way.
That's funny-I have a single 10" JLAudio in a ported box with a JLAudio mono amp, and it kicks very hard-great sound quality, matches up perfectly with the stock shaker 500 (except for Infinity's up front). Also dynamatted the trunk. I can also put down the passenger side rear seat for even deeper bass. I think it has a lot to do with the type of sub your using and the type of vent you have in the box. I had the guy at Tweeter build mine, and I am totally satisfied..
