What was the reason forswitching froma gt to a v6, just because it was manuel.

No, but the manual was a big plus. I saw a picture of this car and fell in love with it. I think I got the first Apperance package car in the tri-state area. I like having something different and the car has lots of potential. The first thing I plan on doing is putting duals on it then CAI and tune. I had my GT for 3 years and went to the track once so I'm not a big racer. But like I said before, the car has good power as it is. Today I had a couple of older cobras start playing with me and I stayed right with them up to a hundred when I realized that 100 in a 55 was not very smart and let off. If I had been in my GT I would not have backed out until 145 or so. I'm hoping the V6 will keep me from killing myself or getting put in jail.

Rdot9,where did you get your stripes and who installed them? I like stripes but yours is the first V6 I've seen with the tag areaon the front bumper filled in. I don't like the cut out look that I've seen on all of the others. One of reasons I was only considering doing them like the OEM Ford kits, just on the hood roof and trunk. Or are they painted on?

The stripes were part of the package. The way you see it is how it came from the factory.
