Alright, thanks for the help.

I may try to fiddle around with it, if I end up buying it, before I start asking for write ups (thanks Scott).
no problem.

just remember that if you go C&L that you will HAVE to have a tune.

..just a friendly "so you don't kill your car" reminder..

you wont regret it (I seem to say that alot..lol.. I hope I'm not wrong..)

yeah 10min tops i just did mine a few weeks ago. it comes with instrucktions, but there are no pics so you have to kind of visualize. the best gide was a dvd called Building the Beast in some mustang mag they did a full install on a gt but its all the same for an intake. good luck

i do have one question though: what are the two screw holes on the MAF housing section of the intake that protrude outward for? i'm assuming they must be used to connect to something on another setup?
i'm not sure i follow which screws you're talking about. if you're talking about the 2 screws that go right behind the airbox that's what keeps the MAF in place. without those screws, the MAF would fall out of the inlet hose

i put this image together so that you guys can see what i'm talking about. currently, my c&l is being kept in place by the TB coupling. its pretty solid but still wondered what these screw holes were for. thanks.
