RE: Smoke Em'
LSD or T-Lock is what I meant. Most are familiar with T-lock on these forums though...

Just to be clear, a T-lok is a type of LSD. An lsd is the name for the device, t-lok is the particular LSD.
Example:
LSD = Limited Slip Differntial, it essentially ties your 2 axles together, but allows them to rotate at different speeds while turning.
T-lok, Auburn, Detroit Locker, TruTrac = Brand names of different LSDs. Some tie the axles together in different ways. T-lok's use clutch packs and the friction connects the 2 shafts It's cheap, but the clutch discs eventually wear out. A TruTrac, on the other hand uses gears to connect the 2 shafts, it's twice as expensive, but MUCH stronger.
For my V6 which will probably never even see 300 hp, a T-lok is adequate. A 500hp mustangGT that goes to the dragstrip every weekend and launches hard, may want to consider a TruTrac.
